"I heard that Korea has nothing much to see or eat, I rather go to Japan..."
"Korea not as IN as Japan lar..."
Sounds familiar with the questions above? Or did you actually asked or said that before... I can answer you...KOREA has lotsa fun!! Maybe to most people it's just a travel destination, but to me it means a lot... lot more than I could say... I like almost everything about Korea~
Korea has 9 regions: Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, Chungcheongnam-do, Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Jeollabuk-do, Jeollanam-do and Jeju-do.
Unfortunately I only travelled along Gyeonggi-do to Chungcheongbuk-do during my 10-day-excursion in Korea 5 years ago... We landed at Incheon, stayed in Seoul and travelled from Seoul to Daejon then back to Seoul. So out of the highlighted cities, I only managed to see Seoul, Incheon and Daejon.
Recommended places in Seoul...hmmmm let's see how many have I been to..
I've been to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insa-dong, Myeong-dong, Seoul Worldcup Stadium and Lotte World. Insa-dong and Myeong-dong are heaven for shopping, I did, well, we did spent a very pleasant weekend in Myeong-dong doing the shopping and food hunting. And we found the best restaurant for Sam-kye-tang (Ginseng chicken).
Walking on the streets of Insa-dong
A freezing cold night at Insa-dong
Koreans are damn artistic . Art exhibition - Insa-dong
Standing in front of the National Palace Museum/National Folk Museum

Autumn is always romantic . Weekend at Myeong-dong
Finally I stepped on the ground of Seoul Worldcup Stadium!

The so called KOREA Disneyland --- LOTTE WORLD
The luminescent lightings . LOTTE WORLD at night
It's just like yesterday although it's been 5 years since I left Seoul. The memories are priceless. I never could have get rid of them. Leaving footsteps in Korea -- I've fulfilled my dream. And I would ask for more...
And thanks to KTO, I could always refresh my memories and passion for Korea through the website. Click on the KTO logo below for a better understanding on Korea. 대한민국~
